Research

My research interests include mathematical modeling, scientific computing, robotics, computer vision, and autonomous systems. I do not currently have any published research, but I currently work at Epic Labs and hope to publish work in the future.

Epic Labs Research Experience

  • Worked on website meant to teach high-school freshman the fundamentals of mcahine learning using tools such as Quarto, Piodide, and Thebe
  • Collaborated on multiple projects using Cesium to optimize power usage at various NASA campuses among other sites
  • Built new features and managed updates on the lab website
  • Worked on general programming of robot capable of climbing on walls
  • Sensors included TOFs and 9DOF, and a quaternion was used for alligning the robot
  • Developed pathfinding algorithm and GUI using OMPL and Three.js that could find a path on an STL file while avoiding user-defined obstacles

Other Research Experience

  • Worked at the Tennessee Reading Research Center
  • Worked and develpoped new features on three different websites meant to help with children literacy
  • Prominent features included basic cheating detection using Levenshtein distance and managing database issues after two databases were merged
