I am an undergraduate Computer Science and Applied Mathematics student at the University of Tennessee - Knoxville, with a heavy focus on scientific computing, research, and education.
Over the past year I have served as the president of the VOLtS, UTK's robotics team, as well as serving as the vice-president of the school's IEEE chapter. As president of the VOLts, I help lead and guide our team to building a robot for the annual IEEE Southeastcon competition. This involves contributing in every aspect, including helping to raise funding, teaching younger students the basics of robotics, and actively working on the bot. I mostly work on the programming side. My main focus is on sensors and using tools such as Kalman filters to extract valuable data, as well as general programming such as motor control and other basic functionality.
Additionally, I am also currently an undergraduate researcher at EPIC Labs. Through this experience I have worked on various softwares and projects. This research has allowed me to grow as an engineer and researcher. My work at Epic Labs can be found documenated here.
